Today was regular day. This drive to work will kill me, miles that is, if the nuts driving next to me don't. 38 miles one way. OMG, its awful. Right now our office is considering moving. Everyone in the office wants to move to an area that is closer to my home - everyone but one person. Always one to spoil a plan. This one person is job hunting, but she would be the one to start trouble if we were to get to move cause where we are moving is going to be farther for her. Oh well, hope it happens . . .I won't know for sure until the end of the month.
The shorter drive would be great for not only me and my mind!!!, but for my daughter too. The drive really wears me out, to the point that I 'm too tired to do much during the week.
By the way, I have a beautiful 15 yr old that will be starting 10th grade. School starts back 7-28-05. Never did it start that early when I was going to school. The earliest I remember was the day after the Labor Day holiday, 1st part of Sept.
But she is great, and her friends . . . all wonderful. Beautiful girls, and VERY handsome boys (or should I say young ladies, and young men?). God, it was just yesterday I was that old . . . how the time slips away.
We have a great time together, the house is always full. I think the record for days staying over is held by Michelle. Luv her! What a sweetie!
One friend that we have (I say we, as I consider of all the girls my friends too), has been in Calf all summer, and not coming back till the end of summer (just as school starts). I really miss her, I don't think she knows how much. I think she was my best friend in another life. Of course this is Aimee. I remember the first time Kayleigh (my daughter) talked to her to ask if she wanted to hang out with us on a Saturday - first thing she said was, "are you sure, parents don't usually like me". Well I adore her! She is my bud!
Right now, I'm sitting here, alone, as usual lately. With Kayleigh dating, it gets pretty lonely sometimes. But writing . . . does help. And Chipper (our dog) does too. Also, the kids hang out here a lot, so its not so bad. Wish I could be young again, to hang out with them . . . but I know, who wants their mom hanging out with them . . . I understand, I was there once.
I'll write more later.
